One of Jake’s Bands I Think

2015-2018

I was introduced to performance art by a prompt. My band was booked to play an underground punk show and a day before the gig my band bailed. I took this as an oppurtunity to experiment within the context of the DIY-Punk gig. There is only video of the first of four performances, which was shot by videographer Timmer Guerin, and features my collabortors and friends, Lenora LaVictoire and Colin Ferguson. This video was taken at a DIY venure called The Shop in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The audience thought we were a new punk band. My goal was to make the audience cry; so we ran over a pile of onions with a lawn mower.</sub>
