A film about trans* becoming featuring the inside of a trans woman first screened on the outside of a different trans woman. The hand drawn digital animation is overlain upon cytoscopic footage of my urethra and bladder, a procedure I went through due to medical side effects from my transsexuality. The text is from my collection of action art scores, Nightmares and Dreams on Progesterone (Late Night Copies Press, 2025).
Additional Information: This work was produced to be the inaugural artwork included in Chelsea Tompto’s Transcode Gallery. A later edit was made which included the original soundtrack and premiered at the 2024 Light Matter Film Festival.
